Ryan Trevitt, a midfielder for Brentford, has joined Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan.
In the Bees' loss to Tottenham Hotspur in September of last year, the 22-year-old made his Premier League debut as a late substitution.
Before being signed by Brentford, Trevitt progressed through the ranks at non-league Leatherhead.
He has also made four cup appearances for the Bees.
After making 23 appearances for Exeter City in 2023–24 and scoring five goals, he spent the second half of the previous season on loan there for the second time.
"He's another goal-scoring midfielder, who I think will be vital for us going forward," Latics head coach Ryan Lowe stated on the team's external website.
He has a solid family history, and I am eager to collaborate with him. "I think he's a real coup for us - and we're really happy to have him on board."
