Two teams have significantly easier run-ins than most, and we've calculated the average league position that each team must contend with from now until the end of the season.
Although theoretically, league standings are meaningless, some teams that aim for a top-six finish have an easier season finale than others.
As we approach the last ten games of the 2025 Super League season, these are the chances for each team.
Which team has the most difficult final stretch of the Super League season?
Hull KR's average opposition league position is 6.6.

With six away games left, Hull KR's final stretch isn't the simplest. But they have three games against clubs in the bottom four if they can recover from Saturday afternoon's loss to the Leeds Rhinos against the Leigh Leopards. However, it's not a certain that they will win the League Leaders Shield because they have back-to-back away games against Leeds and Wigan Warriors before finishing with four games against mid-table teams vying for the playoffs. Though not certain, it is likely.
6.9 Wigan Warriors
6.9 Wigan Warriors
Despite their typical mid-season slump in performance, the Warriors undoubtedly benefit greatly from having seven of ten Super League games played at home. They might at least stay close to Rovers around the top of the league if they defeat four of the bottom six in their next four games. Their home game against Hull KR in August might be crucial because, if the Warriors lose, Rovers are likely to win the League Leaders Shield.
Leeds Rhinos: 6.7

It doesn't seem enjoyable to end the season by travelling to Wigan, but Leeds are feeling quite confident at the moment after defeating Hull KR. It is not an easy challenge to face St Helens for three weeks, and it is not an easy one to face Hull KR again in August. With the way Leeds is playing, more clubs will be afraid of them rather than the other way around. Their games against the league's lowest three teams are spread out over the next 10 weeks.
Leigh Leopards: 7
Leigh Leopards: 7
In August, Leigh may score a tonne of points again with four Super League home games and a trip to Hull FC in between. All of them are games the Leopards can win, with the exception of hosting Leeds. But in addition to playing the bottom three teams, they have two games against St Helens and Warrington Wolves in 10 weeks. They have perhaps one of the easiest schedules, and with seven home games left, it appears like Leigh will be vying for a position in the top two, should Leeds and Wigan falter.
St. Helens: 5.8
St. Helens: 5.8
The games against Leeds and Leigh that Saints have coming up are very important. They still have a chance to place in the top four if they win them. They may be vying for a postseason berth if they lose them. In addition to playing Castleford Tigers twice at home, they have two games against Leigh in 10 weeks. They still have to face Wigan at home and Hull KR away, so they might have a significant impact on the fight for the top place if they can defeat both teams.
