Ipswich Town: Burnley and Crystal Palace are allegedly interested in Cajuste, Jens

According to reports, Crystal Palace and Burnley, two Premier League teams, are considering a deal for Jens Cajuste, a former loanee from Ipswich Town.

The midfielder played 30 Premier League appearances after joining the Blues on loan from Napoli last summer.

Mark Ashton, who was one of their best players in 2024–2025, stated that Town is interested in having him return to the Championship.

However, he emphasised that a trade must be advantageous to both sides, which manager Kieran McKenna acknowledged would be challenging.

Burnley and Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Cajuste this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The Clarets recently clinched promotion back into the Premier League by signing Axel Tuanzebe on a free transfer last week, while the Eagles, despite current uncertainty, hope to compete in the Europa League after winning the FA Cup last season.

According to the source, Ipswich is still eager to lure him back to Suffolk despite their relegation, while Turkish powerhouse Besiktas and La Liga team Sevilla are also keeping an eye on him.

According to earlier rumours, the 25-year-old was offered to Udinese in exchange for striker Lorenzo Lucca, indicating Napoli's apparent desire to sign him this summer.
