After Morgan Gibbs-White signed a new deal at the City Ground, Nottingham Forest is making a concerted effort to add players this summer.
After a summer of heated speculation, Gibbs-White signed a new three-year contract with the Reds, formally rejecting Tottenham's advances.
Anthony Elanga was sold by Forest this summer, and the team would have suffered greatly entering the new Premier League season if they had lost the number ten.
There is an urgent need for Forest to find a replacement for Elanga, and they may have found the player they truly want in Dan Ndoye.

Forest must take Ndoye seriously. To get their Elanga replacement sorted out, Forest should just pay the money and move forward with signing Ndoye.
Ndoye, who is 24 years old, is the kind of player that Forest would want to sign. He is capable of playing in a high European league after recording nine goals and six assists in the previous campaign.
Given that European football is on the horizon this season, Forest may end up overpaying for Ndoye, but Nuno Espirito Santo may not mind at all.
Ndoye appears well suited to take Elanga's place, and Romano's remarks will undoubtedly delight the Forest supporters
