Brian Noble's response following Hunslet's defeat over the Bradford Bulls

The Bulls are going through a "clunky" phase this season, according to Brian Noble.

Last night in Odsal, they defeated bottom-place Hunslet 34-0 to briefly reclaim second place in the Championship ahead of their next opponents, York.

However, they had only taken a 6-0 lead at halftime before scoring five tries in the second half. Noble believed that in order to defeat a club that had been outscored by more than 50 points in three of their last four games, the Bulls needed to exercise greater patience.

 "It was frustrating," he remarked.

"That was Hunslet's best performance in a few weeks." In the first half, we most likely lacked a little patience because of their tremendous level of enthusiasm.

"Everyone gets a little anxious at halftime, and it didn't look comfortable. As they kick cans around the parking lot, everyone asks themselves, "Is this or that?"

However, we still have a few things to learn about the ball. This year, we've had some incredible attempts on a variety of fields at a variety of times.

"Right now, we're simply a little awkward with the ball. We can definitely "un-clunk" all of those crinkles.

"We are constructing our way back to our desired location. We were able to rest folks and look at other persons who might be able to help with our run-in.

The sole goal in the first forty minutes was scored by Jordan Lilley. Two of the second-half tries were scored by Kieran Gill, who had returned from his loan at Batley. Waqa Blake, Tom Holmes, and Jayden Okunbor all touched down. The head coach of the Bulls went on, "I'm not quite as flat as everybody else is."

"Everyone is aiming against the Bulls up here. They aimed up, which is why we didn't win 70-0 since they've been going through some tough circumstances. In the first half, we were hasty and clumsy with the ball, and they played difficult defence.

"Games have a procedure. To make an impression on the opposition, you must go through it and acquire the necessary physical and skill attributes.

It was more challenging in the first half since we weren't patient enough. Unfortunately, running about people is not permitted in rugby league, despite our best efforts.

"I believe we learnt from that lesson at halftime and played much more straightforwardly. "Defensively, that was an outstanding effort.

I never imagined that this crew would help us in any way. Even Hunslet believed they wouldn't defeat us, but we played into their strengths and their effort levels were quite high.

"I don't like to criticise officials, but this game was slow and lagging." Many of the things we did in the first half didn't pay off.

"We didn't appear threatened defensively, but we still need to work on our ball skills." After two players were sent off and Bulls forward Bayley Liu and Sam Webb-Campbell were sent off, Hunslet was reduced to 10 men at the end of the game.

Keelan Foster appeared to lead directly with his elbow in Tom Holmes' face, but the Bulls were not satisfied that he was only given a yellow card.
