According to rumours today, Brentford is prepared to confront Crystal Palace with a £15 million bid for defender Rav van den Berg of Middlesbrough.
After making an impression last season, the Boro custodian has been linked to a transfer away from the Riverside this summer, with a number of Premier League clubs reportedly exploring a bid.
Although Palace showed interest earlier this summer, Keith Andrews, the new Bees manager who took Thomas Frank's place in the hot seat, is reportedly eager to lure him to Brentford.
Rav, who is 20 years old, could potentially follow his brother Sepp, who joined Brentford from Liverpool in 2024, to North West London.
Through his Patreon account, Alan Nixon of the Sun writes that Brentford is interested. Palace is reportedly contemplating a combined bid for Van den Berg and midfielder Hayden Hackney, which is said to be valued approximately £30 million.
But before a planned move to North Wales, the midfielder's pay might end up being a roadblock.
