Despite Scotland's alleged interest, Celtic and Rangers are uncertain about a transfer agreement that is almost final.

Carlos Forbs, a Portuguese international, is close to joining Ajax from Club Brugge, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who made the announcement on social media.

"In preparation for his medical tomorrow, the footballer is leaving for Belgium tonight. "Forbs opted for the Brugge project over offers from England, Italy and Scotland."
