Tyler Dibling, a Southampton winger, has joined Everton for £40 million, as the Toffees respond to David Moyes' fervent request for fresh players.

Tyler Dibling, a Southampton native and former Chelsea junior player, has officially joined Everton. With the acquisition of the 19-year-old winger, the Toffees at last heeded manager David Moyes' fervent request for new players.

Everton lost to Leeds United to start the season, but they recovered well to defeat Brighton last weekend.

WHAT OCCURRED?

After two years, Dibling, who made his Southampton senior debut in 2023, departed the team to play in the Premier League, joining Everton on a four-year deal that will last until 2029.

DIBLING'S COMMENTS

"I'm excited to sign," Dibling said to Evertontv after joining the Toffees. Even before I entered the premises, I had a sense of the club thanks to social media and word-of-mouth recommendations.

Never in my life have I been more eager to start playing football. Given the club's current position, I believe it to be the ideal fit. It's clear that the new stadium has made the spectators here feel like family. I believe it was a no-brainer to join and the ideal fit.

"I believe I've arrived at Everton at the ideal moment, and I hope to stay for a long period. I felt a connection to the club after [the Brighton victory].

It appeared unreal. I participated in the final men's match at Goodison as well. It was really noisy. I was thinking, 'This is quality,' as I looked about. My understanding of what it's like here with the supporters and the mood they can create was much enhanced by it.

Feeling the affection of your football supporters is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and there's no greater feeling than winning. I can't wait to perform here."

The adolescent went on to say, "I think the manager is perfect for me," after being given the chance to work under Moyes. He has obviously aided numerous players in my situation in the past.

After our conversation, I am confident that he will be beneficial to me. There are plenty of players here to pick up tips from, including top players like Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish.

"My dribbling is, in my opinion, the most impressive aspect of my game. I hope to do a lot of it because that's what I'm best at and what I want to do to thrill the audience.

This season, I just want to play as many games as I can and provide as many goals and assists as I can to the squad. Hopefully, we can have a successful season as a team and see where it takes us.

WHAT WILL EVERTON DO NEXT?

Before playing Wolves in the Premier League, the Merseyside team will next play Mansfield Town at home in a Carabao Cup second round match on Wednesday.
