Saddlers and the Black Country Living Museum collaborate.

The Black Country Living Museum and Walsall Football Club are pleased to announce a new collaboration that honours the Black Country's common identity, history, and sense of community.

Through the partnership, the Club will have access to the Museum's distinctive commercial facilities, and our learners will be able to utilise the learning centre.

In exchange, the collaboration presents fresh chances to showcase the area's athletic and cultural legacy simultaneously.

The Black Country Living Museum, which was named the UK's Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2025, vividly recreates the sights, sounds, and tales of the area's industrial past.

With its strong community ties and fervent supporters, Walsall Football Club is another aspect of that similar past.

By establishing opportunities that celebrate the Black Country's rich variety, historic athletic traditions, and legacy, we hope to foster connections with individuals all around the region.

Along with commemorating the communities at their core, the cooperation is a part of a larger effort to reinforce relationships between the Museum and sports teams around the area.

Black Country Living Museum's Deputy Chief Executive (Business Development), David Middlemiss, stated:

"We are overjoyed to have Walsall Football Club as a partner. As a proud component of the Black Country's athletic identity, the Saddlers' collaboration underscores our goal of establishing connections with clubs around the area.

Walsall FC has long been a vital part of the community, much like the Museum honours the tales of working people. By working together, we can uplift the next generation and foster pride in our common past.

Walsall Football Club's Partnerships Manager, Keira Webb, stated:

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Black Country Living Museum. I'm excited to watch this cooperation grow over the season as we continue to honour the community and its people, as we both take pride in the Black Country's identity.

In the future, Walsall Football Club and the Museum will look into ways to collaborate on events and community activities, such as educational programs and family-friendly days.

They are dedicated to making the most of this collaboration by developing experiences that combine history, sports, and local pride in novel and exciting ways.
