IFK Varnamo, a Swedish Allsvenskan team, is known to Kalle Bergman, who has observed Kenan Bilalovic's development this season in anticipation of his upcoming £550,000 move to Aberdeen.
According to an expert, fitness enthusiast Kenan Bilalovic, who earned his breakthrough at Swedish team IFK Varnamo through hard work in the gym, will join Aberdeen "ready to play straight away."
The Dons are expected to finalise a £550,000 deal to sign the 20-year-old from the Swedish team; news of the negotiations surfaced on Tuesday.
After the clubs reached an agreement, Bilalovic was scheduled to finish his medical before signing a long-term contract with the Reds, though it is believed Aberdeen will not make an official announcement today (Wednesday).
But before the two-leg Europa League play-off match, which begins at Pittodrie on Thursday, against either Kosovo's Drita or Romania's FCSB, Bilalovic will become manager Jimmy Thelin's ninth summer acquisition.
Additionally, 21-year-old Serbian striker Marko Lazetic of AC Milan is also on his way. Varnamo Nyheter Since the Scandinavian nation's campaign began in February, journalist Kalle Bergman of Varnamo (Varnamo News), who covers IFK Varnamo, has observed Bilalovic's development this season.
Bilalovic, who has been Varnamo's intermittent starter for the past two years, ended the previous season on loan at Skovde AIK, a second-tier team.
Sports journalist Bergman claims that Bilalovic, who was primarily used as a substitute by Varnamo this season, was ultimately rewarded for his efforts, which included strengthening himself in the gym, with five straight starts after returning from Sweden's summer break in late June.
According to Bergman, he merely had a medical left, and if anyone doesn't have to pass a medical, it's him! From the outside, it appears to me that he takes good care of his body and has been going to the gym a lot over the past year.
He made his debut this season after spending six months on loan in Sweden's second division.
He was benched for every game in the first half of this season, but he was also substituted in every game.
After 12 games, they took a summer vacation. He seemed a little annoyed by his circumstances, and I had the impression that he wasn't content at the club and was most likely trying to find a new home.
He then started five straight games after the summer break and has appeared to be in excellent form during training.
"And it's clear that he's moving to Aberdeen right now. I have no doubt that he will fit right in and be ready to play right away."
Kenan Bilalovic is what kind of player?
After being used as a late substitute in the August 2 tie with GAIS, Bilalovic—who has already scored one goal in the Allsvenskan this season—was completely left out of the squad on Monday night against Thelin's old team, Elfsborg (another draw), most likely because
Aberdeen was showing interest. Sweden under-18 international Bilalovic, who has yet to receive a U21 call-up and is believed to be eligible for Bosnia, is more of a left-winger even though he has made five starts for Varnamo on the right flank.
Topi Keskinen, a Finland international and current Aberdeen left-winger, is right-footed, but Bilalovic is more adept at hitting the byeline and putting crosses in from the left side since his left foot is stronger.
As a player, he is quick, excellent one-on-one, and enjoys taking on his opponent, Bergman stated. He contributes to the team's defence and runs a lot.
Although he has to improve his consistency in the last third, he possesses a fantastic left foot strike and a tonne of promise.
Since he's just starting out in his profession, I think he's still figuring out what kind of job he wants. He spent the majority of this season playing on the right flank, where he frequently takes on his opponent and cuts in for a pass or a shot.
"However, he wears a respectable cross." He's a wonderful man," the Swedish reporter continued. Although they don't talk a lot, they are nice and grounded.
