"Find you by hunting you down." Ian Holloway and Swindon Town denounce the altercation at Walsall's Bescot.

The manager of Swindon Town Football Club, Ian Holloway, has called on anyone who engaged in "unacceptable behaviour" against Walsall on Saturday to come forward.

In their statement, Swindon, who were defeated 2-1 by a late winner at the Saddlers' Bescot home, stated they are "appalled" by incidents involving pyrotechnics, objects being thrown, stadium damage, and abuse directed at players, staff, officials, and directors.

The incident was strongly condemned by the Robins' seasoned manager Holloway, who claimed that a visiting fan had torn a seat from the away end and hurled it at Walsall custodian Myles Roberts.

Swindon issued a warning that individuals found guilty will be subject to the harshest penalties, which may include taking legal action with the appropriate local authorities.

"Swindon Town will not tolerate any conduct that endangers the safety of others or damages the reputation of our football club," the club said in a statement following the League Two curtain-raiser.

"We continue to be appreciative to the vast majority of our supporters who uphold our principles and follow the team in the proper manner.

"We encourage every fan to contribute to keeping all of our games, whether they are played at home or away, a welcoming, courteous, and safe place.

Supporters who could have seen the incident were urged by Holloway to come forward with information about the perpetrator.

"I love this game and I'm a human," he remarked. Although I have a strong affinity for it, I also adore other people.

"I adore their squad and their goalie. I'm here to represent my amazing football team in a way that is polite in loss, cordial, and persistent regardless of whether they win or lose.

"You don't tear out a seat and hurl it at someone; I want to fight for stuff. I want everybody supported the offender to come up and say, "I'm not having that in football."

"I don't want Walsall to believe that about all of us because I want to take my grandchildren to watch my team.

"Whoever it is, you ought to feel ashamed of yourself. Football isn't like that.

"How dare you not catch them in the act of attempting to do it if you witnessed it, know who it is, and it's your partner? What's wrong with you? These individuals infiltrate football and do nothing to change the wrongs of society.

For Swindon Town Football Club, I'm speaking up. This is not something we want to be involved with.

I will track you down and locate you, so you should feel ashamed of yourself, whatever you are."
