The news of the death of a former Super League and Bradford Bulls fullback, who was just 57 years old, has left his former team "extremely saddened."
In the late 1990s, Danny Peacock played with the Bulls for three years, joining one of the first truly outstanding teams in Super League history.
The fullback joined Bradford in 1997, and in just the Bulls' second Super League season, they won their first Grand Final.
After two more seasons with the team, he was forced to retire early at the age of 31 because of a shoulder injury.
But both Bradford and Super League supporters remember him from the league's infancy, when the Bulls were among the top clubs in the nation.

He played for teams including Wests Magpies, Gold Coast, and South Queensland for nine seasons in Australia's NSWRL and ARL Premiership, the league that existed before the NRL was established in 1998, before relocating to the UK.
Before joining to the Super League, he was an experienced player with 128 games played and 38 tries before coming to Bradford.

Danny made his debut in a 26-8 victory away at Wakefield, earning him Heritage Number 1152, and played with the Bulls for three years from 1997 to 1999 after having an amazing career in Australia.
