According to a report from L'Équipe, Bournemouth has begun talks with Lille about acquiring Bafodé Diakité (24), a French defender who has emerged as a major target for the Premier League team this summer.
Bournemouth is getting ready to make significant adjustments to their centre defensive. Ilya Zabarni is also getting closer to joining Paris Saint-Germain after Dean Huijsen was sold to Real Madrid for €62 million earlier this month. Diakité, whose impressive Champions League performances with Lille, especially against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund, have not gone ignored, is the goal of the Cherries as they look to bolster their backline.
