Jayden Wareham, the goal scorer, on Blackpool.

Jayden Wareham, who had scored his first goal in red and white, responded to City's 4-1 victory over Blackpool.

After setting up Reece Cole's first goal just four minutes earlier, the Grecians' most recent number nine glanced Jack Fitzwater's header home in the 60th minute to give City a two-goal lead again.

"That was a very good result, the lads are buzzing," Jayden remarked.

"You would have noticed that if you had been in the changing room. It's a significant victory that will require improvement in the future.

Last weekend's start wasn't the best, of course, but we knew we had to turn it around, and we have.

"For myself on a personal note, definitely happy to get off the mark and we've done that."

When Jayden scored, he gestured to the Adam Stansfield Stand while sporting the number nine shirt.

"I swear that I will continue to celebrate because it is truly an honor. Even though it's a huge garment to wear, I enjoy the pressure.

"I know Stanno worked so hard and I know that tomorrow is his anniversary so that one's for him." Read more about Grecian+ from Jayden below.
