As Super League teams prepare for next year, we've looked at the long-term contracts that have already been signed.
Many players remain unsigned for the 2026 season, but some will not have to worry about new contracts for a long time, with 16 Super League players signed until the end of 2029 or beyond.
One of the players is only contracted until 2027 but has options for 2028 and 2029, while another is signed until the conclusion of the 2031 season - a full six campaigns after the current one.
Eight of the twelve Super League teams are represented, with Catalans Dragons, Huddersfield Giants, Salford Red Devils, and Wakefield Trinity missing.
The Giants and Trinity both have players under contract until the conclusion of the 2028 season, with Huddersfield's Oliver Wilson and George King, while Wakefield's seven include England duo Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken.
Contracts expire at the end of the 2030 season.
The list of those signed till the end of 2030 or beyond is much shorter, with only two indigenous Wigan Warriors players. Junior Nsemba signed his massive contract at the end of last year, while Tom Forber only signed his this month. The hooker is tied down even longer than first-choice number nine Brad O'Neill, indicating how the club feels about him.

The following are the Super League players with the longest current contracts.
Thirteen of the sixteen players' contracts expire in 2029, including the Super League player with options. That's Jai Field, the Wigan Warriors full-back, who signed a new contract earlier this year that will keep him until the end of 2027 with options for the next two years.
Along with him are four Wigan teammates: Kaide Ellis, Sam Walters, Jake Wardle, and Brad O'Neill, all of whom have long-term contracts with the Warriors, however they are not the Warriors' oldest Super League contracts.
Hull KR has three players, and Herman Ese'ese is also set to stay until the end of 29. England internationals Matty Lees and Danny Walker have just signed new contracts, as have promising players Fletcher Rooney and Riley Lumb.

Only one player is under contract until the end of the 2030 season: Leigh's star Edwin Ipape, who signed a six-year deal earlier this year. The hooker has been brilliant since joining the Super League, and he has also lit up the Championship with the team.
He was named to the Super League Dream Team in 2023 and is expected to compete again this year. The Papua New Guinean will be 31 years old when his contract expires, so he will still have plenty of rugby left in him, which means his contract might be extended.
