If Jack Welsby is injured and unable to play fullback for England, RUGBY LEAGUE supporters have begun casting their votes to determine who should take his place.
Welsby was sidelined for 16 weeks earlier this month, meaning he won't be able to play in the three-match Ashes Test Series against Australia until the beginning of October.
The Saints talisman is in a race against time to be well and ready to play, as the opening matchup against the Kangaroos is scheduled on October 25.
Rugby league supporters are therefore baffled as to how England manager Shaun Wane, who earlier this week included Welsby in his 32-man squad, would try to shape his spine.
