EFL club 'eager' on former Sheffield United and Hull City player offers Bradford City striker a way out.

 

Barrow is apparently interested in Tyler Smith, a forward for Bradford City 

Two years ago, the 26-year-old moved from Hull City to Valley Parade, dropping two levels to join the Bantams. 

 Despite making 54 appearances for the team and scoring 12 goals, he has lost favour under Graham Alexander.

Smith, a former Doncaster Rovers loanee and graduate of Sheffield United's system, suddenly seems to be available.

According to reports, he rejected a first offer, but the Bluebirds don't seem to have been put off. Smith and Adam Wilson, a winger, have been informed that it will be challenging for them to play frequently in League One under Alexander.

The promise of Tyler Smith Smith only made one appearance for Sheffield United's first team, despite making remarkable progress in the club's junior system.

 Grant McCann praised the frontman as a "star in the making" while he was on loan at Doncaster. After years of wandering about, Smith might need to settle down, so returning to Barrow could be a wise decision. 

 "He's a very good player, very sharp," McCann stated in 2019. I'm glad he's stepped up and had a significant influence.
