BREAKING NEWS: Michael Carter lost his life in a car accident 



Michael Carter, a 52-year-old resident of Danville, Virginia, tragically lost his life following a car accident on December 20, 2023. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Goodyear Boulevard, involving a collision between Carter's vehicle and another driven by 25-year-old Caleb Lane Durham of North Carolina. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Both were transported to the hospital, where Carter later succumbed to his injuries. Durham faced charges including involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence.

In a separate incident, Michael R. Carter, 63, of Kansas City, Missouri, was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident on New Year's Day 2024. The collision occurred near East 31st Street and Troost Avenue. Carter was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. He passed away on January 7, 2024. The Kansas City Police Department continues to investigate the incident and is seeking information about the driver involved.
