Subject to EFL sanction, Swindon Town is pleased to announce the acquisition of Southampton forward Princewill Ehibhatiomhan on a season-long loan.
The highly regarded center-forward comes to Wiltshire following a stellar Premier League 2 season with Southampton's Under-21 team, where he demonstrated his goal-scoring abilities, physical presence, and line-leading skills.
At the age of 16, Ehibhatiomhan transferred from Reading to Southampton's academy. He advanced quickly through the youth divisions, securing his first professional contract in 2023.
He made frequent appearances for the Saints' youth squad last season, establishing himself as a lively, diligent striker with a solid technical foundation.
The 19-year-old also attracted the attention of St. Mary's senior coaching staff, who selected him for matchday squads during cup games and trained with the first team.
Princewill Ehibhatiomhan declared upon joining the team: "I'm thrilled to be a part of Swindon Town. I'm excited to put myself to the test in senior football, and I'm willing to do everything in my power to ensure that the team has a successful season.
I'm eager to take the pitch, score goals and put in a lot of effort to earn the badge. "I've heard nothing but positive things about the County Ground's atmosphere, the fans, and the club. It became evident after talking with the manager that this is the ideal setting for my growth and contribution.
Princewill Ehibhatiomhan is our eleventh summer acquisition and the most recent member of Ian Holloway's bolstering Robins team. For the forthcoming season, he will don the number twenty shirt.
